The good news is that after months of fighting, the outbreak in China has finally been under control, with healthcare workers gradually withdrawing from the front lines, taking a phase of rest, and many of those infected returning home after treatment and isolation.

As the situation of outbreak prevention and control continues to improve, the resumption of work and production of enterprises has been accelerated. As of today, the rate of design and engineering department of our company returning to work has reached 95%. Our tool manufacturing factory has restored 100% capacity.

However, we are not at the point to slack off yet because we have not won the final victory. We must continue to put preventions and control work in place every day. Below are some procedures that DSC Global Team put

• Office space and production floor is sterilized daily.
• All staff returning to work must submit a self-declaration of past 14 days travel.
• All staff have their temperature taken 4 times a day.
• Any staff that presents with a temperature over 37.3°C (or 99.14°F ) or with other sick symptoms, will be required to seek medical attention immediately. The staff information will be reported to the local authorities per regulations at a daily basis.
• All staff must wear face masks during working hours. Hand sanitizers are provided to employees at convenient locations in the company.

While we are grateful of very few new daily confirmed cases in China, it’s concerning to hear severe outbreaks are happening in countries outside China, especially in the United States and Europe. A few weeks ago when we experienced the same critical situation, we received many blessings from our clients, which we appreciate very much. Now it’s our turn to send our sincere wishes and blessing for all of you. We have shipped over one thousand N95 respirators to our main clients located in North America and Europe to support their prevention work. We will help and share the experience as well. We are together like a big family on the same earth.
